GP and GPwSI Cardiology Accomplishments: Board member: WY Cardiac Clinical Network Research lead: Healthcare first, west Yorkshire Committee member: NICE heart valve and ACS guide I have been a General Practitioner since 2017 with a background of Secondary Care Cardiology experience spanning 10 years. There are 2 aspects of heart failure care where primary care can provide a pivotal role. First being early detection and prevention of heart failure, and second in management of palliative end stage heart failure. With my research role I am constantly involved in innovative approaches to improving efficiency and adapting technology to help with screening and early detection of AF and heart failure. I am also very enthusiastic about propagating education and awareness to patients, carers, and primary care colleagues with the aspiration of improving CV risk management, prevention and early detection of AF and heart failure and in turn reducing progression and disease burden.
