Nik Joshi is a consultant Cardiologist with extensive experience in coronary angioplasty and transcatheter valve therapies. In additional to being active clinically, he has undertaken extensive rseearch in coronary atherosclerosis and patients with coronary heart disease. This has led to multiple awards, grants and publications. Indeed, he was recipient of the Josephine Landsell Award (principal investigator) for research in heart disease. For the research contributions, he was part of the consortium invited to the Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Anniversary Award 2016. He has presented his research at the highly prestigious European Society of Cardiology Hotline sessions in Barcelona and was chosen as the Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Young Investigator Finalist at TCT in 2016 Denver, USA. He was a finalist at the Young Investigator Awards at the American College of Cardiology, and the British Cardiac Society meetings.
