Associate Professor Klaus Fuglsang Kofoed

Dr Klaus F Kofoed is a licensed specialist in cardiology and internal medicine from Department of Cardiology, The Heart Center, Rigshospitalet, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has comprehensive clinical and research experience in the field of cardiac imaging, including cardiac CT, positron emission tomography and echocardiography. His most recent research focus on the clinical use of cardiac CT in patients with chest pain and in patients undergoing TAVR. He is the head of the Cardiac CT research Unit, Rigshospitalet and a scientific tutor of several PhD and medical students. Furthermore, he is the principle investigator of the Copenhagen General Population CT Substudy.
