Doctor Ming Fang Li

Dr. Mingfang Li is a chief cardiologist and Professor in cardiology from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. Dr. Li obtained her PhD degree in Cardiology from the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests encompass the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and management of atrial fibrillation, with a specific emphasis on stroke risk assessment and prevention strategies. Dr. Li has been appointed as a Committee Member of the ESC Council on Stroke’s Education and Scientific Programme Task Force for the 2024-2026 mandate. As the first author or corresponding author, Dr. Li has published papers in leading journals, including The Lancet and Nature Medicine.
