Doctor Kyung Hee Kim

Dr. Kim is a cardiologist and clinician-scientist specializing in advanced heart failure, heart transplantation, LVAD. She serves on the Board of Directors of the ISHLT and is Director of Special Cardiac Imaging and Heart Transplantation at Sejong Hospital, Korea’s only specialized heart hospital. She completed her residency and fellowship at SNU Hospital and earned her Ph.D. from Seoul National University. Her academic work spans heart failure, transplantation, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiovascular imaging, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning in cardiovascular medicine. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and received several academic awards, including the Korean Society of Cardiology Research Award and the LG Future Medical Award. She is actively involved in international scientific, guideline, and educational activities and is recognized for integrating innovative technologies into CV research and clinical practice.
