Doctor Andrea Sonaglioni

Dr Andrea Sonaglioni is a Consultant Cardiologist and Head of the Echocardiography Unit at San Giuseppe Hospital – IRCCS MultiMedica, Milan, Italy. He also serves as Scientific Director of Research Line No. 1 on Cardiovascular Diseases and Multimorbid Patients at IRCCS MultiMedica. His clinical and academic interests focus on cardiovascular imaging, with particular expertise in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, speckle-tracking echocardiography, heart failure, cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiovascular prevention. He is actively involved in clinical and translational research and has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr Sonaglioni serves as reviewer, guest editor, and editorial board member for several international cardiovascular journals and is actively engaged in medical education as a lecturer and tutor in cardiovascular imaging and echocardiography.
