Doctor Marish Oerlemans

Dr. Marish Oerlemans is Heart Failure Cardiologist and Head of the Cardiac Amyloidosis Clinic of the Amyloidosis Expertise Center UMC Utrecht, the Netherlands. His research is focused on novel ways to identify patients with cardiac amyloidosis in an earlier stage using clinical/imaging data, text mining, ECG/echo-AI, biomarkers/genomics and translational cell models. Furthermore, he is Medical Director of Heart Transplantation, looking for novel ways to detect complications after transplantation as soon as possible and aims to improve the long-term outcome after heart transplantation.
