Tootie (Teofila) is the Associate Director for Clinical Research and a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) 70at70 Nurse Research Leader St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. Prior to this she was the lead cardiac genetic nurse for the Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) services at King’s College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital. She is completing a PhD as a Health Education England/NIHR Research Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow at King’s College London which is focused on improving the care of patients with ICCs. She is the Immediate Past-President for the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care and a member the Chief Nursing Officer’s Shared Decision-Making Council on Nursing Research and the Cardiovascular and Ethics & Social Sciences Genomics England Clinical Interpretation Partnership. Tootie is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing. Tootie is on the Clinical Expert Advisory Panel and a Trustee at Cardiomyopathy UK.
