Doctor James Winter

Dr Winter is a British Heart Foundation Research Fellow and Birmingham Fellow. He runs a research group at the University of Birmingham focussed understanding the causes of lethal cardiac arrhythmia and potential therapeutic targets for the prevention of sudden cardiac death. Dr Winter received a PhD in cardiac physiology from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and completed postdoctoral appointments at the University of Leicester and King's College London.
