Monica Tiberi obtained MD degree at the University of Bologna and became specialist in Sport Medicine. She is a clinician working at the Department of Health of the Azienda Sanitaria Territoriale Pesaro-Urbino.In the outpatient clinic she examines athletes for cardiovascular screening and patients with or without cardiovascular risk factors for cardiovascular and functional evaluation and exercise prescription. She is Chair 2024-2026 of the section of Population Science and Public Heath of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) and is co-chair of the Childhood Cardiovascular Health Working Group (EAPC). Her interests are in physical activity and public health, lifestyle modification, and sports cardiology.
