Biography
Dr. Matthaios Didagelos, MD, MSc, PhD serves as an Interventional Cardiologist at the 1st Cardiology Department of the AHEPA University Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. He received his Medical Diploma and his PhD from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and completed his cardiology residency at the Skylitseio General Hospital of Chios and the AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki. He was post-trained in Interventional Cardiology at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Glasgow, UK. He participates in national and international interventional cardiology and heart failure clinical trials and in EU translational studies about nanotechnology and valvular heart disease. He serves as reviewer for international scientific journals and is a professional member of the ESC.
