Professor Muhammad Tariq Farman

Dr. Tariq is a renowned cardiologist of the Pakistan having experience of practicing Cardiology for about 20 years. He is affiliated with a best medical University of Pakistan i.e. Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). Dow Institute of Cardiology is a constituent institution of DUHS where Dr. Tariq joined the Cardiology department at the time of its inauguration in 2016. He started Cath Lab there, organize 24/7 primary PCI programme, and got the department recognized for fellowship programmes of Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) as a head of Cardiology. He also started Advance cardiac imaging facility, Electrophysiology and paediatric cardiology facilities at his department. He also started Bachelor of Science (BS) programme for the cardiovascular technologists at his department and got it recognized from Allied Health Sciences and higher education commission of Pakistan.
