Professor Rami Doukky

Rami Doukky, MD, MSc, FACC, FASNC, FASE is a professor of medicine, preventive medicine, and radiology. He is the chair of cardiology at Cook County Health and on Faculty of Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, Illinois, USA). He received his medical education at Aleppo University (Aleppo, Syria) and a Master in Clinical Research at Rush University (Chicago, Illinois, USA). Dr. Doukky received his residency and cardiology training at Cook County Hospital. His imaging expertise includes nuclear cardiology (SPECT and PET), echocardiography, and cardiac computed tomography. His research interests include myocardial perfusion imaging, heart failure, outcome research, and diastology. Dr. Doukky is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and an Associate Editor in the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology.
