Dr. Stefan Harb is head of the CTO-PCI program at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. After training at the Bergmannsheil, Bochum, Germany, 1997, he initiated a PCI-program at LKH Graz West, Austria. Supported by international mentors like Ferdinand Kiemeneij, Georg Gaul, and Masahisa Yamane he pioneered radial access in Austria 2005, rotablation in the province of Styria 2007 and did the first retrograde CTO-PCI in Graz 2012. 2017 he initiated a distal radial program, 2018 he was an early adopter of intracoronary lithotripsy and organized the first German speaking conference with IVL-live cases 2019 at LKH Graz-West. His interventional network includes transradial pioneers in the UK, miniaturization pioneers in Japan (Slender Club), distal radial pioneers in Korea and many CTO experts globally. He is serving as co-director for two new conferences, EuroVASC in Lisbon and Austrian CHIP&CTO International, and chairing the EAPCI Committee for International Affairs and Partnership.
