Professor Urs Eriksson, MD, MSc ETH is Chief Medical Officer and Executive Board member at the GZO Zurich Regional Health Center in Wetzikon, Switzerland and affiliated with the faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich. He is Professor of Cardiology and has the right to award doctorates in Medicine on behalf of the Faculty of Medicine. Urs Eriksson graduated in 1988 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (MSc ETH), and in 1995 as Medical Doctor (MD) at the University of Zurich. Board certifications include Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Urs Eriksson joined the Department of Medical Immunology and Biophysics at the University of Toronto from 2001 - 2003. From 2004 until 2010 Urs Eriksson hold a Swiss National Foundation professorship. In 2010 he was assigned clinical director, in 2013 CMO. In 2018 Urs Eriksson achieved the Diploma in Advanced Studies in Cardiac Arrhythmia Management from the University of Maastricht, Netherlands.
