Biography
Dr. Mark Blaser is a Research Scientist in the Center for Interdisciplinary Cardiovascular Sciences at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Mark completed his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at McGill University, followed by a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto. His work focuses on applying multi-omics and systems biology approaches to study extracellular vesicle-driven cardiovascular calcification, (congenital) aortic valve stenosis, and how bioengineered model systems recapitulate unique aspects of human disease.
