Sébastien Hascoët is a Professor of Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology at Paris-Saclay University and Head of the Congenital Heart Disease Department at Marie Lannelongue Hospital, France. He is an interventional cardiologist with expertise spanning congenital heart disease from the neonatal period to adulthood. His clinical and research interests focus on interventional management of congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension associated with congenital heart defects, and lifelong care of complex ACHD patients. He has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed publications and is actively involved in European and national scientific societies, including leadership roles within the French Society of Cardiology (president elect of the french society of pediatric and adult congenital cardiology. He is engaged in clinical research, device evaluation, and guideline-oriented work. He speaks French and English and is committed to medical education.
