Associate Professor Ali Nazmi Calik

I am Assoc. Prof. Ali Nazmi Calik, MD, FESC and am practising as an interventional cardiologist at University of Health Sciences, Dr Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center, Istanbul, where I was trained during my residency. I had my clinical attachment to interventional cardiology under the supervision of Dr Samir Kapadia and Mehdi Shishehbor at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. I worked as the chair of the Turkish Society of Cardiology Young committee between 2018-21, during which strong communications between ESCYoung and TSCYoung were established. Besides, I am a member of the PCRonline Editorial Board and EAPCI/PCR Journal Club Core Team, and am serving as a senior reviewer and member of the EHJ Case Reports social media team for the last two years.
