Biography
Johan Malmqvist is a Swedish cardiologist and doctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet, with a clinical focus in cardiovascular imaging. His research focuses on artificial intelligence and coronary CT angiography, particularly automated quantification of coronary atherosclerosis and cardiovascular risk prediction. He is also co-founder and CEO of QVoxl, developing AI-supported tools for diagnostic workflows in cardiovascular care. Outside medicine, research, and entrepreneurship, he enjoys tennis and spending time with his family.
