Associate Professor Mayooran Namasivayam

A/Prof Mayooran Namasivayam is a Staff Specialist Cardiologist, Associate Director of Echocardiography and Interventional Echocardiography Specialist at the St Vincent’s Hospital Campus, Sydney, Conjoint Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Health, UNSW, Sydney and Faculty member of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. A/Prof Namasivayam graduated medical school from the University of New South Wales with First Class Honours and subsequently completed specialist cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. He completed a PhD in cardiovascular physiology at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, St Vincent’s Hospital and UNSW. Following this, he spent two years in Boston where he completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University.
