Ms Thi Hoai Son Mai

Son Mai is a public health researcher and PhD candidate in Health Sciences at Jean Monnet University. Since 2023, she has led cardiovascular prevention and research initiatives at CPAM de la Loire, focusing on cardiovascular risks associated with systemic psoriasis therapies using nationwide SNDS real-world data. Her research interests include cardio-dermatology, pharmacoepidemiology, and healthcare pathways for high-risk patients. With more than 25 years of international experience across Europe and Asia, she has worked on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, non-communicable diseases, and health systems strengthening with organizations including USAID, PATH, and World Bank. She speaks Vietnamese, English, and French, and enjoys yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
