Biography
Simar Saluja, MBBS, is a medical graduate from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India, where she graduated with distinction-level academic performance and received multiple academic honors. Since 2025, she has worked in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at AIIMS New Delhi and has completed clinical observerships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Infectious Diseases in the United States, including at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center, and Tampa General Hospital. Her research interests include preventive cardiology, evidence synthesis, rheumatology, and pulmonary critical care. She is an oral abstract presenter at ESC Congress 2026 and has authored publications and case reports in internal medicine and rheumatology. She also serves as an associate text author for First Aid for the USMLE Step 2 CK 12th edition. Outside medicine, she enjoys teaching, chess, journaling, and reading.
