Dr. Angela Massouh received her undergraduate nursing degree from the American University of Beirut [AUB] in 2004. She then received her graduate degree in Adult Care Nursing with a focus on Cardiology and Heart Failure in 2008. In 2013, she completed a 12 credit post-graduate degree in health research [Scholars in HeAlth Research Program] prior to pursuing her doctorate degree in Biobehavioral Nursing from the University of Colorado, Denver. Her research focus is heart Failure Symptom Management and Self-Care. She has 5 years experience as a Cardiology Registered Nurse, 10 years experience as a Cardiology Clinical Nurse Specialist, and 12 years experience in academia. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Adult and Critical Care Nursing and the Nurse Leader for Research, Education and Innovation at the American University of Beirut. She co-leads its Heart Failure Multidisciplinary Disease Management Program and the Heart Failure Community Outreach Program.
