Doctor Jean O'Connell

Jean is an Endocrinologist and Clinical Lead at the Centre for Obesity Management, St Columcille's and St Vincent's University Hospitals, Dublin. She is the HSE Clinical Lead for the Obesity National Clinical Programme in Ireland, and a trustee of the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO). A founding member and past-president of the Association for the Study of Obesity in Ireland (ASOI), she served on the working group developing Ireland's Model of Care for Obesity Management and chaired the executive committee adapting the Canadian Adult Obesity Clinical Practice Guidelines for Ireland.
