Doctor Antonino Angi

Technical coordinator leading cross-functional delivery for an Horizon Europe healthcare AI project (AI4HF) across academic, clinical, and industrial partners in 15 countries. In my role at the University of Barcelona's AI in Medicine Lab, I coordinate 4 technical work packages spanning machine learning, federated learning, fairness, and explainability, managing cross-team dependencies and aligning priorities across institutions with different workflows. I bring a combination of hands-on AI knowledge and program management skills: coordinating Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) to enable clinical data usage in a privacy-preserving federated learning environment, leading system specification aligned with ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148, FUTURE-AI guidelines, and the EU AI Act, and presenting technical progress and risk updates at various meetings.
