Professor Tobias Tritschler

Tobias Tritschler, MD, MSc, is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Bern, Switzerland, and a Clinician-Scientist at the Inselspital, Bern University Hospital, Switzerland. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Switzerland, followed by a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Thrombosis and a Master of Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa, Canada. His research focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of venous thromboembolism, as well as the standardization of outcome definitions in thrombosis research. He has received research funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Canadian Venous Thromboembolism Research Network, and the University of Bern.
