Professor Vassilios Vassiliou

I am a Professor of Cardiac Medicine and Consultant Cardiologists at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. I have trained in mutlimodality imaging and preventive cardiology and lead a clinical and research service. I am also the Associate Dean of Research for my Faculty. My research focuses on preventive aspects of valvular disease and heart rhythm management and have published >250 papers todate. I am an Executive Board Officer and serve as Treasurer for the European Association of Preventive Cardiology, an Association I am very fond and proud of. If we can get prevention right, we’ll see better heart health and ultimately, healthier, happier patients.
