Biography
Dr. Shankar Biswas is a physician and cardiovascular researcher who completed his MD at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Ukraine in 2024. He is based at Sharda University, India, and collaborates with the SNAP Lab at Johns Hopkins University on stroke neuroimaging. His cardiovascular work includes first-author publications in European Journal of Heart Failure, JACC, Open Heart, and BMC Cardiovascular Disorders, covering heart failure phenotyping, IV sodium burden, coronary collateral circulation, and CT-derived FFR prognostication. He works with MIMIC-IV and TriNetX databases and has expertise in Bayesian network meta-analysis and GRADE. His published work also spans hematology, critical care, and neurology across 15+ journals. He has 60+ abstracts accepted at ACC, ESC, EHA, ISTH, and other international meetings. He speaks English, Hindi, and Bengali and is pursuing Internal Medicine residency in the United States.
