Biography
Rao Faizan is a PhD scholar in Computer Science and Engineering at Kyung Hee University, South Korea, where he holds the Presidential Scholarship for academic excellence. Since March 2024, he has been developing a multi-AI agent system for cardiovascular disease diagnostics and health literacy as part of a Korean government-funded project. He received his Master of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, specializing in deep learning and computer vision. His research spans AI agents, large language models, knowledge graphs, and natural language processing for clinical decision support, with publications in Expert Systems with Applications, ACM, and IEEE conferences. Before pursuing his doctorate, he served as a university lecturer in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He speaks English, Urdu, and is learning Korean. Outside academia, Rao enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoor trails of South Korea.
