Biography
Dr. Mateus Prata is a Brazilian cardiologist, interventional cardiologist, and PhD candidate with a focus on acute coronary syndromes and myocardial infarction. He is actively involved in clinical research, with particular interest in the diagnosis, and treatment of acute myocardial infarction, coronary interventions, and the translation of emerging scientific evidence into clinical practice. His academic work also explores cardiovascular risk reduction, lipid management, and the implementation of guideline-directed therapies. In addition to his research activities, Dr. Prata is passionate about medical education, scientific communication, and the critical appraisal of cardiovascular research. Outside medicine, he enjoys traveling, technology, and creating educational content. He speaks Portuguese and English.
