Pablo Werba is a specialist in Internal Medicine. In the early 90' he trained as a lipidologist in the Institute of Pharmacological Sciencies and the E. Grossi Paoletti Center for the study of dyslipidaemias. University of Milano, Italy. Between 2002 and 2012 he directed a Lipid Clinic and a Laboratory for animal studies in atherosclerosis in the Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, Favaloro Foundation. Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2002 he is the head of the Unit of Atherosclerosis Prevention in the Cardiologic Monzino Center, IRCCS, in Milan, Italy. His main activities are related to the diagnosis and management of vascular risk factors and to clinical research in lipidology, cardiovascular prevention and pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. He published 60 papers in peer-reviewed journals (in lipidology and CV prevention). Impact factor mean: 4,2. median: 3,5; H index: 18; total citations: 1092 (scopus 12-2-2019) and 4 chapters in books.
