Biography
Dr. Nataliya Lutay is a biomedical researcher and licensed Biomedical Analyst at Skane University Hospital, Lund, Sweden.
She obtained her PhD in Biochemistry from Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, Ukraine, in 2006 and completed postdoctoral training at Lund University, specialising in microbiology and immunology. Her research has resulted in more than 20 peer-reviewed publications.
Since April 2022, she has worked at the Department of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine at Skane University Hospital, performing PET/CT imaging and spirometry.
Since December 2024, she has been a postdoctoral researcher with the Lund Cardiac MR Group, focusing on cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) in pulmonary hypertension, particularly quantitative flow analysis and non-invasive imaging biomarkers.
Outside work, she enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time with her daughter and her cat. She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Swedish.
