Biography
Dr. Maria Tairova graduated in Medicine with Academic Honors in 2019 after being admitted at the age of 17 as the top-ranked candidate to the Medical School of the University of Caxias do Sul, Brazil. In 2017, she expanded her international medical education at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia. In 2020, she started her Internal Medicine Residency at UNICAMP, one of the main Universities of Brazil. In 2022, Dr. Tairova joined the Cardiology Residency Program at the Heart Institute of the University of São Paulo, the largest cardiology center in Latin America. She subsequently pursued a Fellowship in Chronic Coronary Disease (CCD) with the MASS Clinical Research Group and is currently a PhD candidate in Cardiology at the University of São Paulo, maintaining active scientific contribution mainly in CCD and cardiometabolic fields. Dr. Tairova's personal hobby is playing the violin and she speaks four languages - portuguese, russian, english and spanish.
