Biography
Arnaud Dominati, MD, completed medical school in 2016 at the University of Geneva and became board certified in both General Internal Medicine and Allergology and Clinical Immunology in Switzerland in 2023. Since June 2024, he has been a Research Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he works under the mentorship of Dr. Nadera J. Sweiss, Head of the Division of Rheumatology. His research focuses on cardiac sarcoidosis and inflammatory cardiac diseases, with particular interest in relapse patterns, treatment outcomes, and the relationship between cardiac inflammation, fibrosis, and the mTOR pathway. He has also led the cardiac sarcoidosis cohort in Geneva and served as the clinical lead for inflammatory cardiomyopathies within his division. He has authored peer-reviewed publications in the field and is honored to receive the 2026 Medical Researcher Award from the Bernie Mac Sarcoidosis Foundation.
