Mr Mitchell Martijn De Boer

Mitchell de Boer is a biomedical engineer at Erasmus MC, working on the clinical implementation of cardiac mapping during open-heart surgery. He holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering specialized in medical physics and combines clinical implementation with software development in C++ and Python. Since starting his current role, he has been involved in developing tools to improve intraoperative cardiac mapping and to support clinical research. His work sits at the corssroads between engineering and clinical practice, with a focus on electrophysiological data analysis, signal processing, and real time visualization. His research interests include cardiac electrophysiology, high-resolution mapping and physiological signal analysis.
