Doctor Waleed Seddiq

Waleed Seddiq Earned his BMedSci from King Saud University and a Master degree from Harvard Medical school in medical sciences in clinical investigation in the translational immunotherapy track. Currently, he is doing his dual PhD program at the University of Oxford. His PhD focuses on defining the diagnostic and therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles for hypertrophic cardiac myopathies (HCM). His work involves advanced techniques in extracellular vesicle (EV) isolation, characterisation, and translational approaches using plasma and immune cells from clinical cohorts of patients diagnosed HCM. During his time at Harvard, his thesis focuses on using Oncolytic Virus (OV) therapy to treat complex metastatic cancer at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Department of Neurosurgery. Seddiq has more than eight years in the R&D industry, managing and working on multiple projects and institutions.
