Biography
Xianying (Emily) Pan, MS, is an Associate Director in the Epidemiology department at Bristol Myers Squibb, based in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. She has over 20 years of expertise in pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, and real-world evidence (RWE) generation across oncology, cardiovascular, and immunology therapeutic areas. Emily leads epidemiological research supporting regulatory submissions and safety surveillance across multiple therapeutic assets. Her work spans non-interventional studies, post-authorization safety studies (PASS), risk management plans (RMP), and structured benefit-risk analyses. She holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from Yale University, with extensive training in epidemiology. Emily has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented at major international scientific meetings including ESC, AHA, ICPE, ASCO, and ISoP. She speaks English and Chinese, and enjoys traveling in her spare time.
