Doctor Diana Aioanei

Dr. Diana Aioanei is a second-year resident in Cardiology who began specialty training in cardiovascular medicine in 2025. With a strong academic curiosity and a patient-centered approach to care, Dr. Diana Aioanei has developed a particular interest in advanced cardiac imaging, especially cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (cardiac MRI) and echocardiography. Her clinical and academic focus includes heart failure management and the study of cardiomyopathies, with an emphasis on integrating multimodality imaging into diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Passionate about innovation in cardiovascular medicine, Dr. Aioanei Diana is eager to contribute to a dynamic research team and to participate in projects that advance knowledge in imaging and myocardial disease. Beyond medicine, Dr. Diana enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures, is an avid reader, and maintains an active lifestyle through hiking with also a deep interest in foreign languages (english and french).
