Biography
David Zhuo, MD, FACC, FHFSA, is an advanced heart failure cardiologist practicing at Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.), and holds the title of Assistant Professor since joining Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) Section of Cardiology in 2023. A native of Melbourne, Australia, he graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine (Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) in 2014. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Virginia Health System (Charlottesville, Virginia, U.S.A.), followed by his Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.). In his current position, Dr. Zhuo is tasked with advancing the level of heart failure care for a critically underserved urban patient population. His research interests include disparities in heart failure care/delivery in relation to social determinants of health.
