Doctor Ioannis Panagiotelis

Ioannis is a senior business leader with 25 years of experience for top healthcare companies with operations across EMEA, APAC and Americas. MBA and PhD qualified, with deep strategy, commercial, marketing and technical expertise, strong government, regulator and medical affairs skills, and broad industry networks. Following his PhD in the field of MRI at the University of Aberdeen, Ioannis transitioned to the medical devices industry where he led a dozen of global product launches including the fist wide bore 3T, the first PET/MR, the first MR-Linac and recently, the first 3T Helium Free MRI. Ioannis led the MR Innovation agenda, introducing pioneering imaging applications such as deep learning image reconstruction.
