Biography
Kenneth Paik, MD, MBA is an Internal Medicine resident at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he began his training in 2024. His clinical and research interests center on cardiology, with particular emphasis on advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and translational cardiovascular outcomes research. Dr. Paik earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical investigation and discovered his interest in cardiovascular medicine. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and conference abstracts, including first-author work, and actively contributes to multicenter and institutional research collaborations. His current research includes clinical outcomes studies in patients supported with advanced mechanical circulatory support devices and cardio-oncology.
