Mr Jack Brown

Jack is a PhD student on the Wellcome Trust-funded Health Data in Practice doctoral training programme at Queen Mary University of London. He is proficient in using large electronic databases and advanced statistical methods to address research questions. His current research focuses on exploring associations between neighbourhood and environmental factors and CVD. He has previously developed prognostic models incorporating non-traditional risk factors. Jack has previously completed an MRes in Health Data in Practice. He has worked as a research assistant at the National Institute for Health Research Health Protection Research Unit in Blood Borne and Sexually Transmitted Infections at University College London in partnership with the UK Health Security Agency, and a data manager at the Institute of Global Health, University College London. Prior to this he completed an MSc in Global Health and Development at University College London and a BSc in Neuroscience at King's College London.
