Biography
I am a veterinarian and cardiac arrhythmia researcher working with translational large-animal models of cardiac arrhythmias. I obtained my Master of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and completed a PhD in Cardiac Arrhythmia Physiology at the University of Copenhagen in 2022.
Since 2018, I have worked with large-animal cardiac electrophysiology, with more than seven years of experience in equine and porcine models of atrial fibrillation and cardiac conduction disease. My research focuses on translational arrhythmia mechanisms and evaluation of device-based therapies, and I have established a local cardiac tissue biobank from horses with atrial fibrillation.
I am currently an Assistant Professor affiliated with the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, where I lead independent translational research and contribute to teaching and supervision.
