Biography
Dr. Haase is a cardiology resident at the Medical Heart Centre in Bernau, Germany, since 2021. He obtained his MD degree with a doctoral thesis on the diagnostic accuracy of coronary computed tomography angiography depending on clinical probability. He began his scientific career in cardiovascular imaging in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Marc Dewey and has developed extensive research experience in coronary CT angiography. Dr. Haase is an investigator in the COME-CCT and DISCHARGE trials and contributed to the development of study methodology. His current research interests include coronary imaging and atrial fibrillation. He completed his state medical examination in 2013 and previously undertook residency training in cardiothoracic surgery starting in 2016. Dr. Haase speaks German (native), English (fluent), Spanish (intermediate), and French (basic). He holds a degree in guitar and maintains a strong interest in music.
