J. Dawn Abbott, M.D., FACC, MSCAI is a Professor of Medicine, Associate Chief of Faculty Development and Academic Advancement in the Division of Cardiology, and Director of Interventional Cardiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Brown University Health Cardiovascular Institute. She is a high-volume interventional cardiologist with expertise in complex coronary and pulmonary vascular interventions. Her research interests focus on improving outcomes of patients undergoing percutaneous procedures. She has received research grant support from the NIH, American College of Cardiology, and industry. She has over 325 peer reviewed publications. She serves Deputy Editor for Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions and is President Elect of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
