Dr Federico Nani, MD, is a cardiology resident at the South Tyrolean Health Service in Bolzano, Italy, working in a bilingual Italian/German clinical environment since April 2025.
Since April 2022, he has worked within the same health service across Internal Medicine and the Emergency Department, gaining experience in ward-based care and acute clinical pathways. He graduated from the International MD Program at Ospedale San Raffaele (Milan), delivered in English.
His main clinical and academic interests focus on ischaemic heart disease and acute coronary syndromes, particularly early recognition and triage in suspected NSTE-ACS. He works comfortably in Italian, German and English.
Outside the hospital, he enjoys staying active through sport and appreciates exploring the Alpine setting; he is also an enthusiastic motorcyclist
