Biography
David An is an undergraduate at Harvard University studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. Since 09/2025, he has worked in the Natarajan Lab at the Broad Institute, leveraging large-scale biobank and EHR-linked datasets to connect genetic risk, clinical phenotypes, and cardiovascular outcomes. He has also collaborated at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on clinical research evaluating point-of-care ultrasound for extrapulmonary tuberculosis diagnosis in high-burden settings. David is the co-founder of HealthPath Horizons, a Boston-based nonprofit expanding access to medical career pathways for low-income high school students through workshops and partnerships. He is fluent in Mandarin and advanced in Spanish, and enjoys blending research, policy, and community impact in his work.
