Biography
Cai is a PhD student at the University of Leicester, researching atrial fibrillation (AF) in endurance athletes. His work centres on comprehensively phenotyping AF and non-AF athletes using advanced cardiac imaging, electrophysiological assessments, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Alongside his academic work, Cai is a competitive national-level cyclist, racing across the UK and abroad.
