Mr Mark Millwood

Mark Millwood is a medical student at the University of Leicester, currently undertaking clinical training alongside active involvement in academic research. He has a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine and clinician-scientist career pathways, with research experience spanning cardiovascular disease, endocrinology, and genomic analysis. Mark is particularly interested in regenerative cardiovascular medicine, stem cell biology, and the translation of laboratory research into clinical practice. He aims to pursue postgraduate training alongside medical qualification, with a long-term goal of becoming an academic cardiologist.
