Biography
Yusuf Raza is a medical student at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia, with a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine. He is President of the UEA Cardiology Society, where he leads academic teaching, OSCE teaching, and workshops, reflecting his strong interest in medical education.
He was one of the lead organisers of the East of England Undergraduate Cardiology Conference 2026, collaborating with the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. The conference was one of the largest student conferences in the country, attracting medical students from across the UK and featuring keynote speakers from leading figures in cardiology worldwide.
His research interests include heart failure, sudden cardiac arrest, cardiometabolic disease, and cardiovascular prevention. He presented at the ESC Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases Meeting 2025 and will present at the ESC Heart Failure Congress 2026. He plans to pursue a career in internal medicine and cardiology.
